Shipping & Returns

Delivery of Larger items

For larger items such as furniture we use 2 types of courier our own delivery drivers and a pallet delivery courier. All goods must be signed for and checked upon delivery by person of 18 years or over. We must be notified within 24 hours of delivery, via email, of any damages or shortages, you may be required to send photographic evidence of any damaged items. If we are delivering by our own delivery driver a member of the hilltop team will be contact to arrange delivery. We aim to despatch furniture within 14 working days although we often dispatch sooner. We are a friendly team at hilltop and if furniture is required sooner where possible we will do our best to comply with customer requests, The Second delivery service we provide is palletised delivery to the curb (although where possible the drivers will pallet truck the delivery to the customers door however this is not always possible on certain properties so we cannot guarantee this). If items are sent to you via this method of delivery the courier will be in touch with you to arrange delivery please make sure that you have help available if you need it. Delivery is to a ground floor area only. The driver will not remove packaging. We will deliver larger items within a 200 mile radius of the garden centre. If you require delivery of furniture outside of the 200 mile radius please contact the team at hilltop to get a quote for delivery. Delivery charge of furniture is based on the item category and delivery distance.

Parcels and smaller items

Delivery of smaller items are sent by courier.  All goods must be signed for and checked upon delivery by person of 18 years or over. We must be notified within 24 hours of delivery, via email, of any damages or shortages you may be required to send photographic evidence of any damaged items. If you accept a package which is damaged or there is a shortfall of packages it is important that this is noted when signing for delivery.

Delivery areas of small items

We will dispatch parcels to mainland UK, excluding highlands, offshore, Scottish islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Scilly islands.

Delivery Charges for small Parcels sent by courier

There is a flat fee delivery charge of £10.

We aim to despatch our products as quickly as possible. We aim to despatch parcels within 4 working days. However we cannot guarantee this and you should allow up to 7 working days. You will receive an email confirmation once the items have been dispatched. If not all items are in stock your order will be Placed on hold and we will inform you via email. You can then choose to cancel items or wait until all items become available. We will inform our couriers of either your mobile number or email address so that they are able to inform you via text/email regarding your delivery. We can only deliver to the delivery address you have provided and it is your responsibility to make sure that all information is correct.

Returns

With your receipt and order number we offer a 7 day returns policy. If you are not satisfied or change your mind you have the right to return your order within 7 working days from date of delivery and receive a refund excluding delivery charges that we have incurred. You will be required to pay return postage and we highly recommend you use a method of tracking and take due care of all the package as you will be liable for the goods until we receive them. If the item is heavy you can contact us for help in returning the item to us.  Products must be returned in original packaging, in pristine saleable condition. Products not received in such condition or incomplete will be returned to you and cost of return carriage will be charged. Please email ……………….for refunds, returns, and cancellations. You retain the right to cancel items purchased on website before they have been despatched. If cancelled after they have been despatched or you are unable to take delivery you are liable for delivery charges and this will be deducted from your refund.

If items are damaged upon delivery, you must notify us immediately. Photographic evidence will then be required within 7 days. If an item develops a fault excluding fare wear and tear within a 12 month period you must stop using the product, contact us immediately and send photographic evidence of the fault. We cannot be responsible for a fault developed by items assembled incorrectly or miss use of the item. We will either repair send replacement parts or exchange the item.  If we are unable to exchange the item then a refund will be given upon receipt of the item. If we choose to arrange a collection for the item, please allow up to 30 days to process any refund upon receipt of goods. We will only give a refund on faulty items when we are unable to replace parts or exchange the faulty item.  If we require the faulty item to be returned, we will arrange collection. It is your responsibility to make sure someone is at the property for collection.
