With our fantastic range of landscaping, we'll have your garden looking good in no time! Whether you're looking for aggregates, chemicals, compost, or paving slabs, we have it all and more!
We Supply Kelkay Aggregates
When choosing which aggregate will suit your garden the most, we know how overwhelming it can be to choose what will work best. What colour will go with your paving slabs? What size should you choose? Different types of garden stones have different uses; gravel is very popular due to the range of size, colour and texture. Gravel stones are also easy maintenance and naturally suppress weeds.
Slate chippings are typically more environmentally friendly compared to other garden stones and due to being flat are comfortable to walk on around your garden. They’re also ideal for enhancing rockeries, ponds, borders and driveways.
Cobbles and pebbles differ from gravel as they’re often larger and have a smoother, rounded finish, perfect for creating a more designer feel to your garden.
Large garden stones and feature stones are great for creating a focal point in your garden and are also perfect for decorating shaded areas where it may be difficult to grow new plant life.
Don’t forget to add weed control when adding aggregates to your garden! We supply ground covers so that you can keep those pesky weeds at bay.
We have a substantial range of aggregates available throughout the year, so if you’re looking to upgrade your garden look, speak to our team today.
Looking for Garden Chemicals?
We have a fantastic range of lawn care products to help your lawn thrive all year round from popular brand Westland, including their Lawn Sand, Lawn & Turf Dressing, Top Soil and more. The ideal time to apply your lawn fertiliser is between March and October as this is when your lawn will be actively growing. Ensure to apply fertiliser after mowing so that it has ample time to soak.
We stock a large range of garden chemicals to ensure your garden maintenance becomes as easy as possible. Throughout the year we stock various weed killers so that your beautiful plants can flourish all year round. The ideal time to use weed killer is when the weeds are actively growing between the spring and autumn months in dry weather.
No one enjoys the thought of mice or wasps in or around their home, so we ensure to stock a varied range of pest control – both indoor and outdoor! If you’re looking to use pest control on insects, the ideal time for this is early spring due to colony numbers being quite low, giving you an opportunity to rid yourself of nests with less hassle. When concerning mice and other rodents, it is recommended to carry out pest control quarterly to ensure your home is fully protected.
We have a dedicated team for all of our garden chemicals, so if there is something you’re looking for in particular, speak to us upon your next visit – we’re happy to help!
If you’re creating the garden of your dreams, it’s important to use more than the soil from your garden. This is because compost has essential nutrients such as fertiliser and a variety of other minerals to help your plants thrive. Not only this; compost also assists in filtering rainwater to prevent flooding, and supports your plants in staying upright – providing physical structure.
If you’re looking to add various plants to your garden, multipurpose/universal compost is a great choice, as it comes with different levels of feed to give your plants the best start in your garden.
If you’re looking to plant azaleas, camellias and rhododendrons, we recommend using ericaceous compost to support their vibrant colours. If you’re looking to include edible shrubs such as blueberries or raspberries, ericaceous compost is also a great option as they thrive in acidic conditions.
If you’re looking to plant trees or shrubs, they typically thrive with fertile, well-drained soil. We have plenty of compost choices available that will encourage strong roots and healthy growth.
Throughout the year we have plenty of fruit and vegetable plants to choose from for those looking to create an edible garden. Whilst you can use multi-purpose soil, we recommend organic vegetable compost as this includes lots or organic matter.
Not only do you need the correct compost for your plants; we also recommend the inclusion of fertilisers, as this will help improve your plants growth. Whilst a lot of composts do include fertilisers already, adding that extra will produce a showy display of flowers and a large yield of edible crops.
